• nhận thức: know, believe, understand, remember
• sở hữu: own, belong, possess
• cảm xúc/sở thích: like, love, hate, prefer
• trạng thái/quan hệ: seem, contain, consist, resemble

Ví dụ

• I know the answer. (Tôi biết câu trả lời.)
• This box contains spare parts. (Chiếc hộp này chứa phụ tùng.)

Không nên trong nghĩa trạng thái: I am knowing the answer.
