Các động từ rất thường gặp:

• agree, arrange, choose, decide, expect, fail, hope, learn, manage, offer, plan, prepare, promise, refuse, seem, tend, want, wish.

Ví dụ

• We decided to postpone the meeting. (Chúng tôi quyết định hoãn cuộc họp.)
• She managed to solve the problem. (Cô ấy đã xoay xở để giải quyết vấn đề.)
