Khi sử dụng sở hữu cách, các mạo từ (a, an, the) đứng trước người hay vật "bị sở hữu" phải được bỏ.
Ex: a daughter of the politician = the politician's daughter [NOT the politician's a daughter]
the plays of Shakespeare = Shakespeare's plays [NOT Shakespeare's the plays]
